ACCESS TO INFORMATION

A website that
welcomes questions.

Our accessibility approach, included features, current limitations and contact route.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Our approach

We aim to make the website usable by as many people as possible and use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and improvement target. We have not completed an independent conformance audit and do not claim certified or complete compliance.

Features included

  • Semantic page structure, a skip link and descriptive headings.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, links, subject selectors and expandable FAQs.
  • Visible focus indicators and labelled enquiry fields.
  • Responsive layouts, readable text and reduced-motion support.
  • No flashing content, autoplay video or image-only essential information.
  • Original guides that can be printed without navigation clutter.

Known limitations

Manual browser, screen-reader and assistive-technology testing remains incomplete. Email apps and external services have their own interfaces. Wide fee tables can require horizontal scrolling on smaller screens. The third-party chatbot and form service may have accessibility limitations. Direct email remains available if either cannot be used. These limitations are reviewed as testing continues.

Request help or report an issue

Email askandace.bd@gmail.com with the page address, a description of the problem and, if useful, your device or assistive technology. You may request the information through an alternative format or communication method; we will discuss a practical arrangement.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility needs ongoing checks when content and features change. Applicable legal obligations and user rights are not replaced by this statement.
